Lent Discussion Groups

On the weekdays of Lent we will be holding two similar five-week classes, one on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. and the other on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. Both will make use of a video presentation entitled “Embracing a Life of Meaning: Discovering What Matters,” led by Kathleen Norris. A workbook will be available. The morning class will begin on Ash Wednesday (1st March) and the evening class on the next day, Thursday 2nd.

Lent and Easter

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on the First of Marchjohnny-automatic-bunny-costume-800px, and Easter is April 16. Plans are in the works for a Lent discussion group; more information will be announced, or check with Father Bob.

Epiphany

On Friday 6th January, which is the Feast of the Epiphany of our Lord Jesus Christ to all Nations, we will celebrate with a Healing Service and the Holy Eucharist at 10:30 a.m.

Holy Name of Jesus

Our Holy Name of Jesus service will be on Sunday, January First at 9:30 am.

Welcome to the Jesus Movement: Episcopal Church slates 2017-2018 Revivals | Episcopal Church

The Episcopal Church is working with diocesan teams to organize a series of Episcopal Revivals in 2017 and 2018, six major events that promise to stir and renew hearts for Jesus, to equip Episcopalians as evangelists, and to welcome people who aren’t part of a church to join the Jesus Movement.

Winter weather

Our regular Sunday service will be held this weekend at 9:30 am. However, due to uncertain weather, please call the Church at 541-967-7051 to check if our Advent Lessons, Poetry and Hymns service will continue as scheduled Sunday Evening. That is currently scheduled for Sunday December 18th at 7 pm.
